No, Selene is not an ISO. She's just naturally innocent. he is basically a beta program that is designed to collect information about certain things. A program developed by a tree hugging hippie, if you can believe it. There are no trees in Tron city, which makes it odd for her to be there, but there she is. The programmer gave up on her and she just found herself in the city where most of the programs didn't really have a set user. As there is basically no nature besides the rain and lightning that falls, she investigates other ways the city could be environmentall friendly in a way. She's pretty philosophical and naive. She knows many words that most programs haven't even heard of. Like hippo or forest. She has images of what these things are in her mind, but she's never seen them and most likely never will. She will often be seen asking someone if an umbrella is a flamingo. Not completely child-like, she just doesn't know better. Beta programs do tend to not be the best at what they're designed to do.
Being designed by her certain programmer, she also developed a bit of a coy personality and could sweetly ignore you and be plain hard to get in every aspect. Hippies often fought for rights they wanted when most other people found it to be annoying or worthless to fight for. Selene may be innocent, but she's not gullible. She has her own independent mind and she uses it. Also like a hippie, she is quite with the dramatics of fighting for what she believes in. Well, she doesn't go around and debate with everyone. She has legit feelings that she really can't control (beta, again) and she goes off the handle like some sort of actress. She is just like an ISO starting out in the world, but she has some programming inside of her. It's just not to it's full potential yet.
