Since the grand return of Flynn's Arcade, provided by Kevin Flynn's heir, many have crossed over to the other side - into the Tron System. As the User and Program Worlds collided, everything was running as smoothly as intended. People from all over the globe would venture to the arcade to see it for themselves, just to get a taste before it was to be officially released world-wide. Some of them even going so far as to stay within the system for days, indulging themselves in every crevasse it had to offer. Some even going too far as Tron, Clu and Sam need to keep an ever watchful eye on both Users and Programs.
From Sam's eyes, everything is a bit chaotic, but beautiful in a sense that his father's vision was coming into being. Yet, that's only what has been plastered all over Encom's main newsletters and on NBC's 9 News. So much has happened in the last few months of the Tron System being open to the general public, but something has already started to stir; something odd. Unbeknownst to both Sam and Clu, Programs have been going missing, but not just any Programs. Slowly, the Programs Clu once had re-purposed for his own superior gain that reverted back to their former selves were disappearing at a rate of about one or two a week.
With Tron's vast knowledge of everyone that sets foot within the System, even he is stumped as to what may be going on. Anyone who carries an Identity Disk has their information flowing through his circuits, but he keeps coming up dry, with an ever dawning thought that maybe Clu is getting back in touch with his other side. For now, he is going to keep it to himself and possibly catch the culprit before it gets out of hand. But how much longer before Users become the next target - if at all? Something has planted it's roots off in the distance, and it's starting to effect the peace of this new Frontier.
How long before others start to notice...
