[TRON]

STARTING OUT

• When joining, make sure your display name is all uppercase letters and there are no commas, exclamation points, and little dodads. Periods are accepted.
  
  
• There are an unlimited amount of characters you can play. Out of those, for every two girls, there should be a boy. And if you are lucky enough to have a canon character, you may have two, but only if the second is AMAZING.
  
  
• You need to at least have an icon of your celebrity in your profile to be accepted.
  
  
• Make your signatures be a reasonable size. Not restricting it to one particular, but know when your signature will stretch the site, it will be removed.
  
  
• Your character must be a real person. No cartoons or anime. And we would prefer no myspace-type people.
  

POSTING

• We understand that bad things sometimes happen to good people but we would like it if you would run your more serious plot lines by an admin. Dating is something we don't need to be alerted about, but someone being pregnant is something we'd like to know beforehand.
  
  
• Please do not God-mod without asking permission. I know sometimes it's easy to get carried away in rp, but some people may not like their characters being controlled. So for example:
  
  Wrong Example -
  Tron easily shifted his light jet in front of the other gamer so they would be forced to crash.
  
  Right Example -
  Tron shifted his light jet in front of the other gamer, hoping they would crash.
  
  Give the people a chance to react and decide what happens to them. Maybe they'd like to put it out in detail.
  
  
• There will be no Gary-sues or Mary-sues. No one is perfect. This means ISOs.
  
  
• This site is intermediate. Keep posts in third person and try to make them at least 300 words in length. It's really not that hard to include a bit of description and imagination. Makes role playing with you more interesting.

RESPECT

• Do not advertise through PMing people or through the Cbox. It's quite rude when there is an advertising and affiliating board here to use for that purpose.
  
  
• Respect authority, staff members are here to make this board run smoothly so that everyone can have fun. So if a staff member send you a small warning if anything is wrong, be a sport and don't give them hard time.
  
  
• Do NOT try to be an admin. That is the admin's job. If you see someone that has done something wrong, LET AN ADMIN KNOW. Please do not become harsh and treat them as though they should know better.
  
  
• It's understandable if two characters are enemies in rp, but if I catch anyone dissing/targeting specifically another member in the Cbox or OOC boards, I will give the said person a warning. Two warnings for breaking this rule will mean getting a permanent ban from the site. Do keep this in mind and cool your jets before doing this.

DISCLAIMER

• This site is rated PG-13 (because proboards says so). If you have anything that is PG-13 or above keep it through IM. These boards are fully accessible to people from 13 years up and some may not be comfortable with it. What would classify as PG-13 to us is that you can get down and dirty (respectfully? have you seen PG-13 sex scenes? yeah) and swear a bit, but you can't post stuff that sounds like it would come from a porno. Be more Shakespearean about it, dammit.
