So last night I started on my trek of hair-magnificence. I wanted my hair to look like Castor, I said to myself, but if anyone asks, I will just say Gem. Anyway... So I did a shit ton of research and found a few people saying the same thing so I went to a beauty supply store, got a whole bunch of stuff and went to work.
First I used the strongest bleach I could find. I think it is blue and the stuff you mix with it is 40 vol. First time around, it got pretty blonde, but there were parts that were more pink than others because of my previous red hair. I should have stripped my hair, I know that now. I bleached it again, but I couldn't keep it in for as long as I wanted because it was tearing my scalp apart. Literally, I have sores. Oh well. And the second time it didn't work at all, which pissed me the fuck off. So I just went straight to the toner I got. It wasn't what everyone else was talking about, but the guy at the store said it was good so I bought it. It was a little too grey for my taste and mixing it with my orange/yellow/pink hair made it okay, but still....weirdly multicolored.
I am planning on bleaching it again when I receive the stuff I was supposed to use in the mail. For now, I'll just try this shampoo that takes out the brassiness. Hopefully my hair will be pretty decently pale by then so when I bleach it again and use the right stuff, it'll take all the pink and orange out from the previous color and I'll be left with Castor white. <3
