So, I love doing this on boards, especially ones with fandoms I'm very fond of, and people who seem extremely awesome. I'm not going to tell you what to put here, it's completely up to you, but you can let people know who you are and what you like and all of that jazz.
I'll start it up!
Hey there guys. My name is Katie Rae and I'm a twenty year old (Twenty-one in March, YEAH!!) college student, majoring in English with an emphasis on (you guessed it) Creative Writing, and double minoring in Archeology/History and Theatre Production. I absolutely love to write, and do so everyday so I don't lose my skills. I have been published in a couple books and a local literary magazine for my writing, and I'm always the one my friends come to for proofreading. :/
I am a major theatre geek, and have worked on and been in many shows in my community theatre. I started my theatre career with The Rocky Horror Show in October of 2009, and I worked sound booth. I followed that up with Whodunnit? in February of 2010, sound as well. Next in line for me was N.O.W. Festival: One Acts, and I played multiple characters on stage for many silly skits. Next I got my first real role, and played in Don't Try To Wake Him, Hand Me The Shovel as Opal, a TV station lackey fed up with her job. The show was like Scooby Doo without the dog, it was amazing. Finally, I was in Return to the Forbidden Planet, my first musical which is a spin-off of Shakespeare's The Tempest, and included hits like, "Good Vibrations", "Wipe Out", "Only The Lonely", and lots more.
I love horror movies, horror books, Star Wars, (500) Days of Summer may be my favorite movie next to Billy Madison, uhm...I love The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, The Cirque Du Freak saga by Darren Shan, Dr. Horrible, and a multitude of other geeky things.
I'm a pretty cool person, and to wrap up this little introduction, I have to say that the Tron Fandom has been the best fandom I've ever been sucked into. When I saw the movie and fell in love with it, I didn't expect to make so many new friends, join an RPG board, get so many new RPs and stories going...it's just really helped me, as I'm going through a tough time. My best friend is studying abroad and I won't get to see her again until May, and we can barely talk, so this fandom has helped me to stay busy and happy while she is away. I thank everyone for that.
I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you!
