Oooh, fun times! I'll have think of ones for mine. Although I have mentioned to a couple of people before that I can see one being somehow connected to Castor.
"Blood" by My Chemical Romance. I see him swinging his cane around and singing to it. It's fun, it's quirky, and it just fits him somehow, in my opinion.

*dies* I was just about to make a topic like this. Because I love seeing what everyone picks for their characters, haha. Alrighty, let's do this:
Tram
Ben- "GymnopéDie No. 1" composed by Erik Satie - Ben's a very gentle, peaceable kind of guy. This just makes me think of him.
- "M.A.G.I.C." by The Sound of Arrows - It's pretty much how he views The Grid; there are endless possibilities within it. He's himself there.
- "River Flows in You" by Yiruma - This one is another one of those "I have a creation song for every Programmer" songs. So, this is what I hear when I picture Ben creating things on The Grid (specifically, I always picture him trying to create a field of flowers, rofl). He's gentle in the way he works, so this makes me think of him.
- "Born This Way" by Lady GaGa - Ben struggles with his sexuality at times; he was bullied a lot in high school and has been judged for it on one too many occasions, so he's got something of a complex over it. So, this song makes me think of him. Like it's saying "It's okay to be you".
Tron
Noma- "Ricochet" by Shiny Toy Guns - I just see Noma as this 'Out of the way, I'm coming through!' kind of girl. Very much able to take care of herself, and look out boys, haha. :3
- "Danger! High Voltage" by Electric Six - Specifically, I think of Noma and Castor. I don't know, I hear this song and think of them as this Bonnie & Clyde styled duo. XD
- "You Are the Moon" by The Hush Sound - I feel like this is something Tram would be saying to her. Like, "No, no! You're much nicer than you give yourself credit for; look, I'll show you!" She's got a sweet side underneath all that tough act. She just doesn't know it. <3
Castor
Alan- "Heart" by Stars - Just makes me think of him and that damn pager he held onto for twenty years. Trying to be a father to Sam, trying to keep ENCOM the way Kevin wanted it, just trying to be a good man overall, but it all wears him down. (Okay, admittedly, there's a decidedly Kevin/Alan tone to it at some parts, but we all know that's how I roll.)
- "Journey (Long Version)" by Michael Montes - So, I have a sort of "creation theme" in my head for all the characters that are Programmers, and this one's Alan's. I just picture him on The Grid as this utter badass, creating a ton of gorgeous things and being totally graceful while he does it.
Miscellaneous/Group- "Welcome All Again" by Collective Soul - I kind of see this one as the grand opening of The Grid, maybe they're getting things started with some Lightcycle competitions, you know. It's kind of a group theme, but a little more Sam-centric.
- "We'll All Be..." by The Maine - I once had this idea of Tram getting upset when he really starts to think about the fact that Ben, Sam, Alan, etc. as Users, will age and eventually leave him. And Ben's attitude is more about not focusing on that eventuality and just enjoying their time together (He's still very young, after all!).
- "Only Time Will Tell" by Asia - This is a Tram & Noma song for sure, though... following a little AIM!RP we had going, haha. Tram's being a bit unfair, but he's feeling a little hurt.
- "Come Home" by OneRepublic - Just makes me think of Kevin, Alan and Sam following Kevin's disappearance. So saaaaaaaad. ;______________;
And... I'll be coming up with more later. But my brain's fried. Trololololol~

I just wanna say I love you for all those, especially the "Ricochet" song. It's my FAVORITE Shiny Toy Guns song, and they're one of my favorite bands. The Noma and Castor one, I really like that one too, as well as the one from Tram. When I read the lyrics (because I've actually never heard it) I b'aww'd. I'm downloading it when I get home. I love this board..

TIGERLILY - LA ROUX this song fits Jinx so well, omg. I always imagine it as being from her point of view, talking to/about her targets. And "I don't like the taste of damn morality/You'll find your bread and you butter where you fake it" pretty much sums up her entire outlook on life.I LIKE IT ROUGH - LADY GAGA "And I'm a hard girl, loving me is like chewing on pearls." SKRILLEX - KILL EVERYONE I really love the sound of this, it's bouncy and scary at the same time. Perfect.

I've found more songs, which doesn't surprise me...I have so much music on my computer.
Tram & Noma. For what we have planned and what the little AIM role-play we have going on is promising us, these just make me think of them.
"Howl" Florence + The Machine You are the moon that breaks the night for which I have to howl. "Goodbye" Ke$haWhen you let go of our last embrace, please don't look me in the eye. Secret's out that I just might care about you, you broke me, you're leaving, there's nothing I can do. "Save Me" Nicki MinajIt's not your fault, I'm a bitch, I'm a monster. Yes, I'm a beast, and I feast when I conquer. But, I'm alone on my throne, all these riches... Castor & Noma. I feel like these two are really fun, and will be even more fun the more they're played out. I agree with Tram...Bonnie and Clyde style duo. I think we should work on that. Do yoooou, Castor? "The Fallen" Franz Ferdinand The fallen are the virtuous among us, walk among us, never judge us, yeah, we're all...damned.
"Kiss and Swallow" IAMX Do you pay for your crimes? Does the punishment fit or drag your style to zero? You're nothing 'til the weekend...Really wish I had more, but I have a hard time coming up with songs for other people alone...I'll brood on it though! xD

Post by Wess Sadowski on Mar 9, 2011 23:35:55 GMT -6
Thought I'd add a bit. Wess Sadowski Big Shot Hands In the sky by Straylight Run: I feel like this song shows how Wess feel's like when he's outside of the grid, and then the confidence he gets once he's building massive structures withing the grid.
Undisclosed Desires by Muse: This one reminds me of how Wess keeps quiet most of the time, even though he really wants to help those around him. He just doesn't have the courage to do so.
Personal Jesus by Marilyn Manson: This is when he's in a kick ass mood/situation.
Debonaire by Dope: When he gets a chance on the lightcycle grid, he lights it up a little bit.
