anyway, were you cool with eva's personality? she doesn't mean to be
abrasive, she is though, naturally. but underneath it, she's caring. she
just doesn't know how to force it through her logic. i think of her as a lot
like spock from star trek. kinda.

I've been pondering on this one for a little while. -insert evil laughter here-

Noma absolutely hates users, and especially Sam Flynn. Why? Because he's the son of Kevin Flynn, duh, and he's working with Tron to make her world user-friendly. She doesn't appreciate that. What say you they meet one night, a place of your choosing, I'm running out of ideas, and she starts to pretend to befriend him, just to end up trying to screw him over? We can have many, many happenstances in between then and now.

eva is perfect.

noma && sam
sounds devious. i like it. how would she end up screwing him over though.
he's got a pretty good grip on programs etc. i suppose she could challenge
him to the games, and then try to actually kill him, since there's a limit that
users can go to before they're pulled. since they actually bleed on the grid and
don't derezz.

I like that idea. It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt...then it's even more fun!

OMG I only have one character what is WRONG with me? Alright so here is Tara DeNoir, she's a user, a progamming genius with a serious lack of impulse control, she's got a mouth on her and doesn't control it, works for CALTECH because she blazed right on through MIT and she likes to fence. She sees code like normal people see words so it's all just a walk in the park for her. She's from ales, says things like bloody hell but she's been in the states since she was seventeenish. More or less because her dad got another teaching gig in the states at a university.

To do as you will, I can actually see her getting on with Sam. Maybe able to calm her down when she gets to hot headed because lets face it, compulsive, hot headed woman with a sword and the skills to match the arrogance is kind of fun to play with.

Ellie and Sam;

Phew, lookit me, got another character. I play Noma too. I was thinking on some plots for Sam and Ellie, thinking maybe when he was in college, they had a few classes together, knew each other. Maybe they can run into each other one day at the arcade? Catch up, maybe go into the new digital world together? Don't have to get too deep into plot, we can play it by ear, unless you have some ideas?

sounds like a lot of fun actually. could be a pretty serious thread. with her getting in lots of trouble, etc.

tara && sam
we've talked about them. they're awesome buddies who get on each other's nerves. all that fun shizz.

ellie && sam
that sounds good to me. he knew her before he dropped out of school. they could've been close, but after he dropped out he kinda went into himself and lost touch with people. she coudl be genuinely angry at him if you want. i don't know how close you wanted them to be, could've been flirty friends, on the verge of dating, and then he just disappears. provide lots of tension lol.

I like the 'on the verge of dating and she's pissed off at him for dropping off the face of the Earth' idea. I can start a thread for that in the Arcade. He can be there for some reason, Ellie can be looking around, planning on going into the Grid, but she sees Sam--plus, she knows he put this out, so she'd know where to look for him, lol.

Wonderful. I'll start something up in the Grid for them, then. Just a set up for them to meet.

JINX&SAM
Since Jinx is probably going to work for Dillinger at some point, it's safe to say Sam and Jinx would not be on very good terms. However, it's possible she could trick him into thinking she's a double agent and is really on the side of the "good guys". She's fascinated by User culture, as well, and always is interested in finding out what makes people tick so she can fake friendships better, so some kind of interaction is undoubtedly in the cards.

Sam & Ben

I kind of pictured Ben as being sort of like Alan Part II, except that where Alan has kind of learned to lay off and let Sam be his own man while worrying at a distance, Ben hasn't. He's the worrier, the Mother Hen to end all Mother Hens. Sam would have been a big part of his life, I think, sort of filling the big brother role left by Lucas after the car accident that killed him and Lora. As such, I could see Ben leaving text messages at all times of the day: "Have you taken your vitamins?" "The milk in your refrigerator was expired, so I bought you a new carton. Please don't tell me you drank any of the other one..." "When was the last time you saw your physician?" Yep. He loves what Sam's done and is doing with The Grid and is happy to stand by and support any decisions that Sam makes. The whole previous relationship with his sister situation is a bit awkward at times, but mainly he just tries not to bring it up. As far as Sam and Tron? He couldn't be happier. Sure, Tron looks like his dad, but Ben's never been one to judge. Case in point, count on Ben to back Sam up on just about anything.

Sam & Tram

Tram loves Sam. Sam's brought in a bunch of new Users for him to watch over, so really, he's happier than a pig in poop (even though pigs don't actually enjoy being in poop, but whatever I'm using the phrase anyway). Not to mention anyone who makes Tron happy is bound to earn Tram's stamp of approval. he doesn't have a heck of a lot of interaction with Sam, or so I'd imagine, but any time he does he'd be the picture of the perfect program, awaiting orders with military-like patience and an eager smile.

Fletcher & Ben

I could see Ben having an attraction to, or at least being very intrigued by, Fletcher. He's a bit reserved himself, so I imagine the first time he'd see Fletcher would be on The Grid, probably at The Games. A guy like Fletcher who's intelligent, talented and shy? Ben would definitely be curious. Cue potential man-hunt because Fletcher's pretty difficult to find in the User world (or so it seems). Ben's probably never spoken to him, but kind of watched from afar? Haha, he'd probably be too nervous to talk to Fletcher so he does The Creep instead.

Lawl, I dunno. I'm just throwing shit out there, so don't mind if my plot bunnies are running rampant. I'm a slave to them. ;______________;
