Hestia is a program created by Claire Vogel as an added measure in the event of Tron being re-purposed as he was during the reign of Clu 2 on the previous Grid. Her basis is a security program, but her experience is solely on versions of Tron, both corrupted and uncorrupted. In short, she’s meant as a fail-safe measure.
While a security program, her trigger for battle is Tron if his code has been messed with so he’s either corrupted by a virus or is repurposed. With this in mind, her actual experience is quite small, only having a few bugs to work against in the past. Perhaps in the first few meetings with Tron, she’d most likely be on guard due to the nature of her creation.
As far as personality goes, she may give off signs at first of being naïve and childish – not to mention far too trusting of others. And they would be right. Her time in Claire’s computer for tests kind of made her sheltered. And the other security programs on the computer generally did everything for her, to let her focus on her user-given purpose. She’s also a program that enjoys things that she calls “fun.” As a security program, she has a tendency to try to protect other programs/users if at all possible. She also has this ability to make programs feel better or “cheer them up” as users call it. If you’re her friend, you’re a friend for life, whether you’re a program or user.
If put up against other programs, Hestia’s best would most likely be disc wars. However, she’s unsure of herself around other programs and as stated before, little to no experience in dealing with other programs. Her main trigger being Tron kind of creates a handicap in that she will have to learn on her own to fight off other programs and the like. Her naivety could quite easily be her greatest downfall. Certainly, she would need a mentor of sorts for work on the new Grid…

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
Meanwhile, inside the tower's floor - 2 above the one Mer'loct was on -, a man with short silver hair and blue eyes was being restrained by a few priests. "Hey! I can't just sit here and let them do as they please!" he yelled. "If I can drag two of you along, I'm good enough to get out and help!" Dominic Obsidian was getting annoyed. He had been first stuck here in the tower after being injured in battle earlier and was told he needed to rest until Tsunaimei got back. Granted, their odds would go up with the vice judge around, but the White Phoenix member didn't see the point in waiting for Tsun to return if she had nothing to return to.
"Let me have my sword and I'll make sure no one else gets killed!" he shouted, raising more cain as the priests let him go. One of the white mages shook her head at the young man.
"If he's so eager to get out there, we don't have much choice now," she said with a soft sigh. One of the others went into the next room and brought out Dominic's Rune Blade and shield. To which the young man grinned.
"Finally, someone has some sense!" he commented as he lifted the equipment. Granted, Dominic could've used more rest as the blade seemed a bit heavier than normal, but the healing magic from the priests had taken care of his injuries. "I'm going down to see what I can do."
With that, the White Phoenix member took off down the stairs one level. The fray was even worse than it was when it started. "What the, even children? You guys sure know how to put a damper on things," he growled, spotting one of the mercs. The rune metal almost sang it went through the air and struck the mercenary's shield. This let 2 others in the room know of his arrival and they joined the other. "Well then...looks like I got my work cut out for me," he smirked. He shouted his battle cry as he then proceeded to attack them. The smirk widened as he saw them go on the defensive, until they went on the offense. He barely managed to block the majority of the blow from one’s but he breathed in a bit as he felt the enemy’s blade cut into his arm. This perhaps wouldn’t be as easy as he thought… Just what he wanted.
